What better way to celebrate Robbie Burns’ weekend than with our program of poetry, songs, sonatas, and ballads from the Scottish Enlightenment? Featuring classics by Scotland’s favorite son and incurable romantic, we’ll also explore works by Stewart, Barsanti, Ramsay and Geminiani, performed by actor Paul Hecht and the Consort’s chamber ensemble of violin, flute, soprano, cello, and harpsichord.
Pre-concert lectures start one hour before each performance.
