Elena Mullins

Praised for her “alluring” performances and “easy virtuosity,” soprano Elena Mullins has wide-ranging interests in the field of early music. She takes a scholarly interest in the performance practices of early repertoires, and co-founded two medieval music ensembles, Alkemie and Trobár. As a performer of period chamber music she has appeared with Les Délices, Three Notch’d Road, Apollo’s Fire and the Early Music Access Project. Elena directs the Early Music Singers at Case Western Reserve University, where she also teaches medieval music history and baroque dance. In the summer of 2018 she was appointed Executive Director of Quire Cleveland.
