Gisella Milla

Peruvian soprano Gisella Milla started her voice training while finishing her Major in Communications inPeru. She obtained a Bachelor’s in Voice from Chicago College of Performing Arts at RooseveltUniversity and a Masters from Northeastern Illinois University in 2018. Gisella hasattended international programs outside of the States like AIMS summer program in Graz,Austria in 2016 and Orvieto Musica summer program in 2017 and this year Masterclass Ischia inthe Island of Ischia, both in Italy. She has also performed as a soloist with local opera companieslike the Third eye theatre ensemble, Transgressive Theatre Opera and in Northeastern IllinoisUniversity’s opera seasons. Gisella also performs in special ceremonies organized by theConsulate General of Peru in Chicago and is thrilled to be collaborating with Newberry Consort.
