Tiana Sorenson

A native of Racine, Wisconsin, versatile soprano Tiana Sorenson can be seen performing a myriad of repertoire in the classical canon. A graduate of Northwestern University where she received her Master of Music in Voice and Opera, Tiana has performed several leading soprano roles including: Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Governess (Turn of the Screw), and the title role in Handel’s Theodora. Since graduating, she has sung with Chicago-based choruses and ensembles such as Grant Park, Chicago Symphony and William Ferris and has been afforded opportunities to cover and prepare roles at Lyric Opera of Chicago and Chicago Opera Theater. An avid chamber music enthusiast, Sorenson has also been featured alongside early music ensemble Aperi Animam, and the Boston-based all women ensemble Lorelei. Tiana is a featured artist with Hearing in Color, Chicago and is an active member of the Grammy Award-winning new music ensemble, The Crossing.
