Russell Wagner

Russell Wagner has enjoyed a fulfilling career that has included everything from building pipe organs, restoring fine stringed instruments at Bein & Fushi, and helping found the Haymarket Opera Company. He appeared on the Prairie Home Companion Show while touring with Music Camerata, and has performed with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Haymarket Opera, Bach Week, Bella Voce, Catacoustic Consort, Music of the Baroque, Newberry Consort, and Second City Musick. Wagner is a leading restorer of cellos in this country working from his studio, Chicago Celloworks.
